We have various vacancies currently available, or coming up in the next 6 months, in the construction industry. These can range from a Level 2 to a Level 4 and are either trade or site based apprenticeships. I have included a list below of common apprenticeships we offer and if you could please apply with your top 3 choices, from 1 being the apprenticeship you are most interested in to 3 being the least interested. Please also include whether you have your CSCS Card or any previous site experience.
– Bricklaying (Level 2 or 3)
– Engineering Operative (Level 2)
– Carpentry & Joinery (Level 2or 3)
– Dry Lining or Plastering (Level 2 or 3)
– Electrical Installation (Level 3)
– Plumbing & Heating (Level 3)
– Painting & Decorating, Wall & Floor Tiler, Floor Layer (all Level 2)
– Construction Contracting Operations: Site Supervising or Management (Level 3 or 4)
– Safety, Health & Environment Technician (Level 3)
Qualifications – GCSE Level 1/2 or A Levels in English and Math must be achieved before taking your end point assessment, if not already held, depending on what level apprenticeship is available. If you do not have your GCSE’s for English or Math, then a Level 2 apprenticehip with an initial assessment through the college is a possibility.
Behaviour/Characteristics : You will attend college one day a week and the other four will be on site. You must be dedicated to starting and completing an apprenticeship, which can range from 2-4 years in duration. Be able to manage your time, follow instructions, and work as part of a team. Be willing to travel. Have basic computer skills.
You will receive a fully funded apprenticeship with experience on site and the college qualification
Minimum of 35 hours a week working on site and a day at college
You will be paid a wage for all hours worked and spent at college
