Partnering with Evolve

At Evolve we are always looking to hear from organisations that share our aspirations to help more people achieve their goals.

Business

Colleges

By partnering with colleges we are able to offer the widest amount of options to our candidates looking for apprenticeships. Building and maintaining links with educational establishments also allows for a smoother learning process for our apprentices. For customers, it saves time by knowing that we already have the links to the courses that they require to train their staff. Our CITB apprentices have recently attended the following; College of North West London, Barking and Dagenham College, Oaklands College, Mid-Kent College. Outside of the CITB we have links with; College of Westminster (now linked to College of North West London), Bexley College, College of North East London, and Slough College.

Local Authorities and Housing Associations

The obligations that must be met when building permission is granted are often compiled and monitored by local councils and housing associations. We have set up links across London to ensure that we are available to deliver apprenticeships in the locations where they are required. We regularly attend council meetings and will speak to the local building contractors through these links. Where HA’s are involved, we have similarly productive relationships. We have been involved in building procurement frameworks such as the Southern Construction Framework. Both types of organisations may also refer local labour through their employability schemes e.g. Love London Working. Some that we have worked with include; Clarion Housing, Hyde Housing, Devon County Council and Hampshire County Council, London Borough Councils of Hillingdon, Westminster, Brent, Bexley, Camden, Harrow, Lambeth, Barnet, Hackney, and Newham

Referral agencies

In addition to the above, we attempt to find the best candidates for our customers by building links with other organisations that support people to find apprenticeships. These have included welfare to work companies and agencies or training establishments with specific aims. Such as; Women into Construction, Prospects, and Construction Youth Trust.

We are presently very interested to hear from organisations regarding the Mayors Construction Academy Programme and the CITB’s Construction Skills Fund (links below):
